𝗟𝗶𝗹𝘆 (リリィ 𝘙𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘪), also known as Lv3 (プロジェクトリリィv3 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘺𝘷3, lit. "Project Lily vision 3") as a cyborg, is the daughter of Dr. Gero and the younger sister of Gebo. As of FighterZ, it is very possible that Android 21's template was also her mother.

Appearance

Lily is on the shorter side, her hair soft and blonde. In her youth, she dressed prim and proper as directed, from school uniforms to Sunday best; she also wore glasses out of necessity.From her late teenage years and forward, she is often seen wearing dark colors or wearing edgy fashion. She wears elaborate goth earrings and her fingernails are often painted black. Her more common attire consists of a purple tube top with a mesh undershirt, striped leggings and arm warmers and black, fingerless gloves, a skirt adorned with belts, chains, and trinkets, black combat boots, and her treasured fleur-de-lis choker paired with a silver plus necklace. Her eyes are similar to that of Dr. Gero's Androids, such as Android 18 and Android 21.In her mutated form, Lily gains a more curvaceous body, her skin turns pale, her hair becomes silvery white, her ears become pointed, her eyes change to a vibrant red, and she gains a tail. Whatever clothes she was wearing prior to is replaced with dark Frieza Race type armor with magenta crystal adornments. Her appearance in her mutated form is the result of her having Frieza, Namekian, and Demonic DNA applied to her genetic code.

Personality

Lily is an extremely complex individual. Her personality is a mixture and at often times contradicting itself along with core beliefs. This is because Lily suffers from a personality disorder, likely developing the condition from the years under her father's narcissistic behavior. Borderline personality disorder causes an individual to question who they are, often changing their day to day reactions to events.Lily, by default and without the condition, is quite peaceful and laidback, liking to approach things with the go-with-the-flow attitude. Personality traits that stray from her core persona consist of outbursts of anger or panic, depression, irritability, shame, anxiety and spontaneous impulses. Examples of contradicting herself include, self-conscious thoughts verses feelings of vanity, happy with what she has to intense feelings of jealousy, lacking self-confidence to experiencing to believing in herself.Lily's core alignment is from True Good to Neutral Good. She is never True Neutral or Evil leaning.

Background

Lily lived a rather comfortable earlier life, though she was forced to study extra hard even for a child. Her interests did not revolve around science as it did her parents. Despite this, she was actually thought of to be quite intelligent.Lily has an estranged relationship with her father, and decided even from a young age that she did not particularly like or trust him. When her deepest fears were ultimately realized, Dr. Gero had already tortured and experimented on multiple individuals.Despite her best efforts, she could not escape Android 20 and Android 19 and was eventually molded into a being of Dr. Gero's own choosing. He enhanced her eye sight, augmented her organs, replaced her voice, and injected her with mutation serums; her brain and memories miraculously remain untouched however.[Information about Cell Saga goes here.]To this day, even after many years of being released from stasis, she still does not know the full extent of damage her father had done to her. As of now, she is effectively his fail safe, keeping his vast research safe should anything befall his supercomputer.

Peace returned to Earth once more after Cell had been defeated by Gohan—and while there was means to celebrate, the defenders of Earth were left with a bittersweet ending. Son Goku—was not returning from the afterlife.Lily had witnessed much in her short time with the dragon team, experienced intense emotions, from fear to pain, then shame to dread. She wasn't sure what to do now that her father's tyranny was over, struggling to accept her new existence.Would anyone she knew before this even look at her the same, let alone understand?"..Lily?"The blonde picked up her crystal gaze, seeing the worried features of Vegeta's future son."I have to go now." he said softly.That's right. He wasn't from their time. Never mind the science behind how any of that was possible; that didn't matter to her. Lily tried to hide her forlorn appearance, but Trunks was ever vigilant of Lily's feelings.He walked to her, gently placing his hands upon her shoulders. "Hey.. Cheer up. I promise everything will be okay from now on."Lily fought the tears that burned her eyes. She wasn't sure what to do now, especially since he was leaving. Trunks, with Krillin, had saved Lily from her prison within her father's lab. Although Lily was considered one of the monsters he sought to destroy, he felt immense empathy for her plight. He helped look after her. He was one of the only ones she trusted at all."It hurts.." she finally spoke, her digital voice cracking. "Everything hurts.. I'm weak—I can't do this.."She raised a tender hand to her throat. She did not feel the physical pain of her father's experiments anymore, but the mental anguish—it was smothering her, and now, he was leaving.Trunks's heart ached for Lily. He did not want to leave a friend in need, but he truly needed to return home to finish righting the wrongs of her father. Lily knew this.Taking a shuddered breath himself, he gently squeezed her shoulders with care."Lily.." Trunks murmured, "You are stronger than you believe.. You have greater powers than you know. Your memories, your will, your compassion—make you stronger than you realize."While those encouraging words were meant to bolster her resolve, Lily could help but to huff softly into a sob. She averted her eyes, tears cascading down her features. "If that's true...then why don't I feel good enough..?"During the fight with Cell, Lily had froze, petrified from the trauma she endured. She saw Android 16, her brother's template, be crushed——more over, she watched Trunks briefly die by Cell's hand. She could not protect them, either of them."I'm a coward," she sobbed, the shame gripping her tightly.Trunks shook his hand fervently before having her look into his eyes. "Lily, everything...will be...okay. Okay..?"They looked at each other in silence for a moment before Lily finally nodded her head, sniffling. "Everything, will be okay.." she repeated, nodding again and again, forcing a hopeful smile that met with his.She would have to keep telling herself that.And so, Trunks returned back to his time, leaving Lily behind with the dragon team, in hopes of a brighter future...moving forward.

Lily didn't return to the university. Not right away. She had returned home...her childhood home, where her father abducted her. Why go back? Why not just let it rot? Krillin wondered this as he stood beside Lily in front of the old Victorian abode."Uhh...not to be that guy, but are you sure you want to stay here? The place is pretty much—""I know. It's fine." Lily chirped, ushering the monk to relax.Glancing at him, she gave a small smile. "I guess I got a lot of work to do.""What?" Krillin blinked, bewildered by her statement. "Aren't you going to go back to university?"Lily averted her gaze, peering at her surroundings. Her vehicle was still here from the beginning of the month, and the landscape around the house had seen better days."No.. Not yet. I don't think anyone would understand...or believe me, for that matter. Besides..." she looked back at Krillin, "...the News is making this super complex."Krillin lightly nodded in agreement before pursing his lips and looking up at Lily. "Hey, if you need anything, just give a holler. Not like I have better things to do now anyway." he awkwardly jest. "Like uh...are you gonna fix up the house or..?""Piece of cake." Lily gave a small, yet confident smile. "I think...it's going to apart of the healing process."Lily had a lot of emotional healing to do. Even though she wasn't returning back to university right away, she decided she would contact her friend from school soon to establish reconnections. For now, it would be just her."Besides..." Lily took a step towards her childhood home, "Everything will be okay."Krillin grinned a bit from hearing that. Looks like Trunks got through to her, or so he hoped."Glad to hear it. I'll be on my way then." With that, the monk ascended into the sky, waving down at her. "Good luck, Lily! I mean what I said! If you need help, hit me up!" and then he was gone.Once Krillin was out of sight, Lily's gentle smile faded.What now?Looking back at the old house, she clenched her jaw. She had a lot of work to do. Her father may have made it a little hideaway for himself, but no longer. Lily was taking back her home.It was going to take a lot of effort to clean this place up.Walking into the foyer, Lily closed the door and looked around. She flicked the light-switch, but nothing worked.'That's right. He rewired where the power supply is going. Annoying.'At least she could make things out in the dark now, albeit it was in shades of gray. With a wry smile, she sarcastically thanked her father before heading out back to mess with the power-box.Once she used her knowledge to reroute the wires back into place, Lily was elated when the power returned to the upper portions of the house. "Finally," she muttered digitally.Back into the foyer, Lily turned on the headlight. She half-expected the house to catch on fire, but surprisingly, it held up just fine.Walking along the short hallway, she stopped abruptly to look at the hall table. All the pictures that were displayed there were face down...Carefully, she lifted up one of the frames, the picture within being a woman in her early 40s with a sweet smile. Lily gently caressed the glass with her thumb, a sense of serenity filling her heart."Mom.. I miss you." she said softly, soon placing the frame down correctly.Moving on from the foyer, Lily walked down the longer hallway to the kitchen where she was left in shock. It was a mess. Moreover, there was rotted food left out. Gross!"God.. How old is this?" she questioned aloud.Dropping her bag to the floor, she began removing her aesthetic gloves and turned on the cabinet radio. Time to get to work!

Dishes...so many dishes. Lily grimaced with irritation. There was so much dust and grime, it was downright criminal. "I swear to God if I ever see his face again.." she muttered in disgust. Just another layer of spite to add against Dr. Gero.Picking herself off the floor, Lily let out a raspy puff of air before looking around at the kitchen. The kitchen seemed a bit smaller than she remembered. Good for her since she had to clean it all by herself.All the other rooms downstairs needed to be dusted, but otherwise was in good shape to her relief. Entering the living-room, she saw her cellphone on the floor where she had dropped it that day. It wasn't damaged but the battery was dead. She guess she would charge it in her room.Then it occurred to her. She had not been in her bedroom for years.Heading up the stairs, she immediately noticed a wide-open door. It was her brother, Gebo's, old room. She hid in there from her father, only to be found by Android 19. She shuddered at the memory. Lily intended on cleaning the room, but for now, she simply closed the door and moved on.Lily's bedroom was dusty, and the floorboards creaked under her feet. By the looks of things, Dr. Gero didn't step foot in here either for many years.Sunlight flooded into the bedroom, dust particles floating betwixt the light and shadows of the room. Cornflower-blue wallpaper lined the walls, the wood crowning and baseboards a beautiful walnut, begging to be wiped down. A vintage desk was set against the wall, the windows above it basking the dusty surface with light, pens and pencils still neatly placed as she left them so many years ago.The rest of the room had a medium bookshelf with academic literature, an antique armoire with a matching vanity table, a chest bench, and a beautiful canopy bed with an end-table on the right side.Lily truly did live in the lap of luxury as a child.Setting her bag down on her bed, Lily surveyed the room. Nothing appeared amiss here. Unbeknown to her however, she was being watched."Guess I better get to work in here too." she decided, "But first..."She would set her cellphone charging. It wouldn't be until late that Lily finally remembered to turn on the phone. Immediately her phone lit up with notifications, many messages and missed calls from her friend, Rune and the university.Lily faintly smiled down at the cellphone as it sprung to life with further messages. She would have to explain everything to Rune later. Maybe society would look at her differently, but she could take solace in knowing Rune would not abandon her for anything. And thus, the two would have to talk soon.Being home wasn't easy for her, but neither was existing this way. She needed time to adjust and take back her life. But would she ever truly succeed?

"Lily, are you sure you'll be okay?"
asked a punkish girl with layered,
shaggy hair. Lily sighed, placing her
luggage into the car parked in front
of the student housing building."You worry too much, Rune.." she
replied reassuringly.Before she gets in the car, she gives
the other female a warm hug. "This
is for Anjou.." she said softly into the
girl's ear. Once the embrace
dispersed, Lily gave her friend a
bittersweet smile."I'll get it over with. Tell him how I
feel, and come back. I need this
closure to be happy."The one named Rune nodded with
understanding, wiping an emotional
tear from her eye. It was strange to
see her best friend weeping. Lily
hated leaving her at a time like this,
but she knew it had to be done. Lily
gave her peer an encouraging
squeeze of the shoulder."I'll be back before you know it." Lily
smiled sweetly.And so she entered the car, and
drove away, unknowingly closing a
chapter in her life.▾The drive back home was strangely
serene; a calm before the storm.
Dark clouds gathered overhead, and
soon Lily was flipping on the
windshield wipers."Ugh.. Already? I thought I was
making good time.." she said to
herself.Pulling out her phone, she dialed
Home. After a long period of ringing,
Lily was about to hang up, until
someone finally answered. A familiar
voice rang through the speaker, and
Lily had to fight herself from turning
off the phone out of anxiety."D-dad. It's me, Lily. Are you home?"
There was a long pause of silence,
before the man's voice picked up."Yes. I am home."Lily seemed relieved, yet...she felt
nervous. "I know it's going to be a
shock to you, but I'm on my way
home. I hope that isn't a problem?"A quiet, yet warm chuckle followed. If
one knew better, it sounded sinister."No, Lily.. It is not a problem, not at
all.."She breathed out, chuckling quietly
herself. "Okay.. See you soon." She
hesitated. "L-love you."But he had hung up before he could
hear it. Realizing this, Lily scolded
herself for dragging her feet, but
reassured all the same that she
would have another chance.As she drove up to the traditional
victorian-esque abode, she started to
gradually step on the breaks, her
eyebrows knitting together with
confusion. "Eh? What is going on?"
Pulling up into the driveway, she
stared out the window in awe.Even from here, she could see the
mailbox was full to the brim with
letters. Her home appeared to be in
poor condition. Vines were
overgrown and breaching into the
roof, and weeds replaced the once
colorful flower beds that would be
blooming right now from Spring.
Aside from those things, something
felt wrong.Exiting her car, Lily slung her
backpack over her shoulder and
closed the car door with a mild slam."What the hell is going on?"Approaching the front porch, she
decided to investigate. Checking the
garbage cans, she saw they were
empty. Judging by the overgrown
grass growing around its wheels, she
deduced that the cans haven't been
moved in a long time."Something is definitely wrong.." she
uttered, walking back towards her
car. She stopped herself however.
As much as she wanted to leave, run
away like always, a myriad of
emotions filled her soul. She wanted
to keep her promise to her late
friend, Gumi, but...she also worried
about him. Her father.Swallowing hard and pursing her
lips, she stared back at her home
with growing determination."Come on, feet.. Let's go." she
whispered to herself.She had to stop being so intimidated
by that man. He was supposed to be
her father after all.Taking her house keys from her
pocket, she would make her way up
the porch stairs to the front door.
Once unlocking the door, Lily slowly
pushed it open, a low creak insulting
her ears. A sense of uneasiness
befell her when she entered and
closed the door behind her."Hello..? Dad? I'm home..!" Lily
called, her voice carrying from the
foyer.She quickly noticed how dark it was
inside. None of the curtains were
open, and the lights were off, the
brewing storm outside making the
home uncomfortably darker. Pushing
up her glasses, Lily navigated her
way around with her cellphone light
until she found the lightswitch.No power. As if the electricity had
been shut off. She started to back
up, becoming spooked. "I.. I need
to—" before she could finish her
sentence, she felt something behind
her and quickly turned around.The thunder rolled, and lightning
flashed through the curtains
revealing a man in his later years.Lily gave a short scream, startled,
before realizing, "D-dad??" For a
moment she relaxed. "Dad.. You
scared me. Why is the electricity
off?" she asked with concern. But
before she could inquire further,
Gero spoke up."Lily... It has been a while,
my...daughter."The way he called her 'daughter' did
not seem right. It sounded
mocking...ominous.Lily's eyebrows furrowed as she
slowly took one step back. "D-dad.."
her voice was shaky. "I'm sorry for
not updating you on my studies like
you told me to.. I just..""You just...what, Lily?"He took a step towards her.Lily swallowed hard, taking another
step back. Alarms were starting to go
off in her head. "I... I was busy—""With what?" Gero challenged, "Your
studies..?"Lily was about to answer, be honest
about her activities, but..."I—""I know what you've been doing,
foolish girl..!" he suddenly hissed.
"You have been squandering my
generosity and your privileged
education, soiling your ingenious
brain with mounds of GARBAGE."
His voice became progressively
louder. "AND YOU HAVE THE
AUDACITY—TO STAND BEFORE
ME?" he roared.Lily was trembling where she stood,
her father's raised voice giving her
flashbacks to her childhood under
his strict rule."I.. I'm sorry.."As soon as the words left her lips,
Lily found herself on the floor,
holding the side of her face as sharp
pins and needles erupted on her
flesh. He slapped her. Lily looked up
at her father, terrified."Don't ever...lie to my face again." he
said coldly to her apology. In shock,
Lily could not move. "I know
everything you have said and done.
You can thank my drones for that,
you selfish girl."Finding out he was watching her this
entire time, her skin began to crawl.
"Wh-what the hell is the matter with
you?!" It was the first time Lily ever
raised her voice to her father, the
first time she had ever been defiant
in front of him. If he knew everything
she had done, then he knew why
she was here, and his actions
showed he had little care for her
intentions.Grabbing her by the neck, Lily began
struggling to breathe as he slowly
lifted her to her feet and onto her tip-
toes. "Don't think for a moment that I
would not replace you if I could...but
your brain—is one of a kind. Which
is why..I will have it."Whether it was out of fear or
courage, even she could not tell.
Fighting to escape, Lily suddenly
shot up her knee , landing a blow to
his gut. Gero doubled over, releasing
Lily who immediately ran to the front
door, only to see it was now
padlocked.She cursed, panic and adrenaline
now pumping through her veins.
Desperate for escape, she bolted out
of the foyer, through the drawing
room and into the library. Hearing
him call her name, Lily felt her body
grow cold in sweat; a panic attack
drawing near.Hiding underneath one of the tables,
Lily crouched there, trying to catch
her breath. Unfortunately, Gero
wasn't far behind.Entering the room, the old scientist
feigned care in his words. "Now,
now... You can't always run from your
problems, Lily... I have been waiting
for you to complete your studies...to
come back home, to me." He was
trying to play with her emotions now.
"I know my reaction was
uncouth...however, you disappointed
me. Understand as parent, where I
am coming from, hm?"Lily closed her eyes tightly, chanting
in her mind as panic continued to
make her blood run cold. 'He doesn't
care about me..' she thought in
dread. 'It's a lie. It's all a lie.'Dr Gero glanced around the library,
the lightning causing shadows to
dance around the room. "I want you
to stand beside me, Lily.. Together,
we will create amazing things this
world has never seen..!" He said as
he passed by the table she was
hiding under. Lily held herself,
holding her breath."I have plans for you, Lily.. Beautiful
plans. I just need your cooperation..!"All Lily could think about was running
away. In this case, running seemed
reasonable, but she was trapped.
Still...she had to try. With Gero's
back turned to her, Lily would push
herself out from under the table and
make a break for it. Gero saw this
and started to get progressively
frustrated, shouting her name.Lily checked the backdoor to the
drawing room before running back
into the foyer and up the stairs. It
wasn't the ideal place to go, but if the
downstairs doors were all padlocked,
perhaps she could hide in one of the
bedrooms then escape through a
window. Probability of success was
low here, but better than awaiting her
fate downstairs.Once upstairs, Lily entered her late
brother's room, carefully closing the
door behind her with the hopes of
being inconspicuous. She thought to
call the police, but when she dove
her hand into her pocket, she
realized in horror that she must have
dropped her cellphone earlier when
her father was choking her.Lily cried in frustration.Hearing footsteps under the door,
Lily quickly moved to hide under the
bed. Once the door opened, she
could hear heavy footsteps
approaching, feeling the creaking of
the floorboards beneath her.She held her breath once more, her
body shivering in intense fear as the
steps grew closer and closer... At
that moment, she started to pray to
any god out there that would
acknowledge her desperate prayers,
for someone to save her.None answered her.
No one came.Lightning lit up the room, and a
round, doll-like face was now staring
at Lily from outside of the bed.Frightened, Lily screamed. The giant
doll flipped the bed up violently like it
was nothing, throwing back the bed
onto her late brother’s desk, crushing
whatever was there. The sound of
shattered glass resounded within the
room along with Lily's fearful
weeping.The giant doll grabbed Lily with little
regard, inflicting pain by it's powerful,
solid grasp. Lily struggled, trying to
grab onto anything to keep herself
grounded to no avail.As the doll pulled her up, her glasses
fell from her face, clattering against
the hardwood floor."Good job, 19." came the doctor's
voice as he entered the room. Lily
continued to struggle, physically and
now visually."Enough of this... Number 19, you
may set her down, but hold her
steady." he instructed. Once Android
19 did so, Gero stared down at his
own flesh and blood."No more running, Lily... No more.
You will not run from your destiny."Lily struggled in Android 19's tight
grip. She was sobbing. "What the
hell are you talking about?? Why are
you doing this??"Dr Gero would enlighten her.
She could not escape."Lily.. This world is imperfect. It is
flawed beyond imagination. I wish to
turn every flawed human into
artificial life; achieve human
perfection. Then, and only then, will
the world be perfect by design!""And me..?" Lily stared uneasily at her father."You, my dear, will join me." He said
with splendor. "Just think. With your
genius and mine, we will be
unstoppable! I will show you my
work, but..." He gazed at her with his
icy hues, "I need your cooperation,
Lily.. What will it be?"After an ample amount of silence,
Lily hid her hands behind her back.
"Okay.. Show me."Dr Gero seemed satisfied by her
answer, and would lead them down
the stairs into the foyer, then to the
basement door.Lily remembered, as a child, she was
not allowed down there; not for
anything. Now she was treading
down dark stairs, stuck between her
father and his android creation with
no escape.Once the three made it down the
stairs, Lily noticed the only light
source coming from the basement
room."I suppose you're wondering why it is
dark upstairs." Gero started, "There
is no point in lighting up a useless
house. I have rewired the electricity
to suit my needs down here." Lily
concluded this was where he
continued his experiments when he
was actually home.Lily frowned, but nodded with
understanding.Gero would then direct the two to a
large metal door against the far wall
of his basement lab. When the door
was opened, Lily would be shocked
to see that it was a long tunnel. "We
will be going to my laboratory. The
basement does not have enough
space for my creations."The three would trek down the dimly
lit tunnel until they eventually made it
to an industrial elevator. Lily got
nervous. She was past the point of
no return. All she could do at this
point was pray again, clutching her
fists as fear and anticipation pumped
through her veins.Taking them up through the elevator,
the trio arrived on the main floor of
his lab, deep in the mountains. Lily
would be shocked to see his lab in
all its glory. "This is it. Well, the level
that matters most." he said, proud. "I
cannot wait to properly share this
with you."Android 19 would walk Lily with Gero
as the mad scientist shared his life's
work with his daughter. Lily listened
closely, taking in all the information
he had to offer, including any
answers to questions she had. Dr
Gero was enthusiastic, the most he
had ever been in front of Lily in her
entire life."You see.. With your beautiful mind,
should something ever happen to
me, you and the supercomputer can
keep my dreams alive!"Lily felt queasy. It was like watching
a horror movie. The father that she
thought she knew no longer existed.
It actually made her feel...sad, like
she was in mourning. She clenched
her teeth, closing her eyes as he
droned on about his projects and
plans. It was then, Lily made a
serious decision. "Dad..?"Dr Gero turned to her, a smile
present on his face."Could I...have a hug?"As a child, she always asked him for
one. He would hug her back then as
requested, but it felt stiff, never
genuine."Number 19, free her please."The android would remove its tight
grip from her shoulders, allowing Lily
to approach her father. Gero gave a
shockingly caring smile before
affectionately embracing his
daughter, caressing her blonde hair
as he did so."My precious daughter.." he murmured.As Gero held her, Lily was fighting
back sobs. "I'm sorry.." she shakily
whispered. Gero thought she was
talking about her bad choices in
university, gently patting her head
softly. "It is okay, my child.
Everything will be okay." She sobbed
harder.𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑩.Gero's eyes widened in shock, soon
letting go of Lily. He stepped back,
staring at her then down at his
abdomen where she stabbed him
with a shard of thick pottery. She had
grabbed it when Android 19 pulled
her off the floor.Lily shook her head slowly, holding a
hand to her mouth as she cried. "I-
I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry..." She wept.
She did not want to do it. She
wanted to think that this was all a
joke. But it all made sense... Why
she had to study hard all her life.
Why he was so distant. Everything
she had known was a lie."YOUUU WRETCH!" Dr Gero
shouted in a burning rage. "DO YOU
HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU HAVE
DONE??"Lily turned to make a run for the
elevator, but Android 19 stopped her,
unmoving from her path. While
pushing at the metal doll in vain,
Gero shouted. "19! Change of plans!
Throw her in the cage!" And the
android did as it was told.Grabbing Lily with it's vice grips, it
started moving her towards a set of
metal cages. "NOO!" Lily screamed.
"Let me GO!"The android did not.Once secure in the cage, Gero
weakly called to Android 19 again.
"Number 19. It's time now." Dr Gero
touched his bleeding wound. "This
body will no longer do..."It was then that Dr Gero had Android
19 prep to operate on him, thus
removing his brain and implanting
the organ into an android shell
modeled after himself. During this
time, Lily sat alone in the cage, cold,
fearful, sobbing.The sound of drilling and the slosh of
blood made Lily sick to her stomach.
She wondered what was going to
happen to her. Knowing how
begrudging her father could be
normally, she knew...she would be
punished.

Lily did not know how long she was
locked in the cage. As the hours
ticked by, she was beginning to grow
hungry. Leaning up against the cage,
arms crossed, she was too
uncomfortable to actually sleep.More drilling could be heard, sparks
lighting up the laboratory. Android 19
was finishing up the operation, when
finally, after a moment of silence—
his voice...returned."Success!"Lily turned in her cage, grabbing at
the bars, trying to see over the
supply crates in her way. She heard
shuffling before hearing more of a
voice that was similar to Gero's,
yet...robotic."From now on, I will be referred to as
Android 20. Son Goku will soon
suffer for his crimes!"Lily whispered softly in confusion,
"Son Goku..?"A loud, metallic sound would be
heard, pulling Lily's attention away
from her inner thought. Heavy
footsteps started making their way
towards her. Her stomach churned
with anxiety as she pushed herself
far back into the cage.The doll, Android 19, was now
accompanied by another android,
Android 20. His cold, artificial eyes
found Lily, his expression just as
chilling as his gaze."Surely you had time to think about
what you have done. To betray your
own father. Such a pity.."Lily hesitantly made eye contact with
the android, fear reflecting in her
eyes. Her father's brain was on full
display in a glass dome. She had to
look away, feeling disgusted from the
very sight. "Oh my God.. What have
you done..?" Lily whispered, trying
not to cry outright, let alone vomit."You killed my body, Lily. I did what I
must to survive. I do not know what
came over you, but I am sorely
disappointed." said Android 20.
"Which is why...you will be
punished."Lily began sobbing, great emotion
washing over her. "D-dad.. I'm
sorry—""SILENCE." his voice echoed,
causing Lily to throw her hands over
her ears. She was crying harder.
"Dad.. What you're doing is wrong..!
You can't do this!"Android 20 stared down at Lily hard.
"You made me change my plans,
Lily. Anything that goes wrong from
this point on is on your head. Had
you not been such a bad child...I
wouldn't have to do this."Lily pushed herself farther back in
the cage. "N-no.. Please! I just came
here to tell you how I feel!! I didn't
want any of this!" she wept."You can tell me how grateful you
feel, after we're done." he said
darkly. "Pull her out, Number 19.The android reached in and grabbed
Lily's leg, causing the girl to scream.
His yank was too strong, and Lily
was forced to let go, otherwise she'd
lose a leg.Taken out of her cage, Android 19
brought Lily to the operation table
where it smelled horribly of copper
and sterile solution. Turning her
head, she saw her father's lifeless
body, his skull cut open and empty.
Lily screamed again, and started to
thrash."Easy, EASY, Lily. You brought this
on yourself, my dear." She continued
to fight despite Android 20's words.
"You made your choice, Lily. You will
come to see things my way in due
time. I wasn't going to improve you
until you were ready, but times have
changed. You will be my legacy and
historian. You will learn everything
my supercomputer holds, and
together, we will rule this world. But
first.." He would bring his hand
around Lily's throat, holding her
down himself. "..I need to remove
this pesky distraction of yours. Your
days as a silly musician are over."The girl's eyes widened in horror.
"What do you mean? What are you
talking about??"Android 20 trailed his hand from her
jaw to her collarbone. "Your voice,
Lily. Since you cannot be trusted to
not give in to frivolous impulses, your
voice will have to go."She was horrified. "M-my tongue?"Dr Gero chuckled. "I'm not that
cruel.. Though if you continue to
push me, perhaps. I am simply going
to diminish your singing talent. It is
an entirely unneeded skill that will
not further my cause.""N-no!! Please! Don't take my voice!"
Lily begged. "Don't take my voice!!""Silence, Lily.. This is your
punishment for killing my body.
Accept it." Android 20 would place
an oxygen mask over Lily's mouth,
turning on the anesthetic. Lily
continued to fight against him until
the gas filled her lungs. "N-no.."Everything went black.▾
𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝗿𝗱, 𝟳𝟲𝟳
𝟵 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮
▾When Lily awoke, pain shot up
through her body, with more pain
gravitating behind her eyes.
Swallowing was difficult and her
sinuses were uncomfortably dry. It
was like she had her tonsils
removed, except there was no ice
cream to soothe the inflammation.
Her body ached and what's worse,
she had a throbbing headache as
well."Lily...? Lily? Can you hear me..?"
came Dr Gero's robotic voice.Crystal blue eyes gradually fluttered
open..the overhead light super
bright, yet she could still see.Something was not right.Her eyes kept focusing in and out,
causing disorientation in the girl. She
could not move; her body strapped
to another table. She could not
speak, her voice refusing to work.
For a moment, she thought he made
her mute, until a digital croak exited
her lips."Relax, my dear. I know it's a lot to
take in, but you will be fine." Despite
the caring words, his tone seemed
devoid of actual emotion. Lily
glanced at him through slitted hues.
She did feel overwhelmed, that was
certain. When her eyes finally
focused on Android 20's face, a
cackle came from her ‘father’."Excellent. Your eyes are working as
planned. While augmenting your
vocal cords, I took the liberty of
enhancing your sight and some of
your other organs. No more glasses
or contacts necessary, and no risk of
absurd emergencies like
appendicitis. In fact, I would dare say
you have the perfect possible vision
now, and a clean bill of health. If only
your late mother would have let me
fix your body sooner.."Lily closed her eyes, the pain
grabbing at her attention. She felt
awful, and remembering where she
was did not help. She thought about
Gumi and Rune, especially Gumi,
wondering if her friend was watching
from the heavens—what would she
think? Did she blame herself?"For now, I will let you rest." Android
20 stated matter of fact. "I have
decided the best course of action for
you, to keep you safe from my
enemies. I only hope you won't die
on me like the rest." Lily crept open
her eyes and quietly glared at
Android 20 before falling asleep
once more.▾
𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟴𝘁𝗵, 𝟳𝟲𝟳
𝟰 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮
▾Awakening for the second time, Lily
felt sore and fatigued. She had
dreamed of being back at the capital
with Gumi and Rune, but when she
awoke, the happiness faded, and
she remembered where she was."Oh good. You're awake." piped
Android 20, standing nearby. "We
have a big day ahead of us." he
claimed.Lily grimaces. She wondered what
he meant, but could not bring herself
to speak. Android 20 walked around
Lily and began placing special nodes
on her flesh. She looked at him in
question before he answered.
"Nothing to worry about, my dear. It
will be over before you know it. It will
just...sting, a lot."Her heart began to race, especially
when he placed a breathing
apparatus over her mouth. "Number
19, stand ready."The android doll did as it was told,
now monitoring Lily's vitals. When
Android 20 tried to walk away, Lily
managed to grab his cold wrist.Dr Gero looked back at Lily with his
stern, lifeless gaze meeting her blue
hues. "Everything...will be okay." he
said sinisterly, devoid of emotion.Stepping away from the special table
that was suspended over a tank of
vibrantly colored solution, Android 20
positioned himself in front of his
console. "Today, Lily, you are going
to become a new person. My near-
perfect daughter...soon a perfect
specimen..."Lily closed her eyes, furrowing her
eyebrows with anxiety."We are about to bond the strongest
metal the human body can tolerate
to your skeleton, in doing so, will
keep you in one piece. Once that is
complete, we will fuse your DNA with
the strongest cells known to
humankind; giving you strength,
durability, speed, better hearing and
healing capabilities. You will be
perfect as you can possibly be..."Lily grimaced. This did not sound
good. How could any of this be real?
Rolling her head back, she softly
groaned through her oxygen tube."Now.. Let us begin."The table Lily was strapped to would
hum to life and start it's descent into
the tank of fluid. Once she was
completely submerged, she watched
as large metal syringes began
moving in close to her. Her already
racing heart began to pound in her
chest.Android 19 continued to observe her
vitals while Android 20 controlled the
machine.Suddenly, the needles began to
spiral like a drill, causing Lily to jolt
under the bio-water, startled and
reasonably filled with terror. They
drew closer and closer, and all Lily
could do was watch in horror.The moment the needles began
drilling into her flesh and bone, Lily
snapped her jaw shut and began
thrashing in her binds. The pain was
so excruciating that Lily thought she
was dying.Eventually she began screaming into
her breathing apparatus, a digital
shriek emitting from her, her fists
balling so tightly that her fingernails
dug into her flesh.Soon enough, liquid metal began to
fuse with her bones and marrow,
fortifying her body. Android 19 would
conclude that her heart rate was
higher than recommended, but Dr
Gero held onto his hopes that her
brilliant mind would survive the
intense transition.Minutes seemed like hours when the
metal injections gradually began to
finish. The room would fall silent,
except for the bubbles that formed in
the tank. Lily's thrashing ceased, and
miraculously, her heart rate began to
level.New syringes delved into the water
and began injecting her with alien
dna. Android 20 was satisfied as the
most difficult part was over with.
"Good, good. She survived..
Unfortunately my DNA reserves are
low due to another special project,
but this should be enough.."Slowly, the table would rise up, the
solution rolling off the surface back
into the tank. Android 20 neared,
investigating her body with care. The
holes that outlined her body, began
to heal at an alarming rate, causing
Dr Gero to suddenly shout, "HAHA!
SUCCESS!"Lily's eyes suddenly snapped open,
once crystal blue irises now
alarmingly red.Android 20 noticed this, soon looking
down at his daughter. They both
made eye contact."You're...perfect."The binds that held her started to
snag, causing Android 20 to
immediately back up, but the binds
held. Fascinated, Dr Gero
approached once more, marveling at
her changes."Beautiful.. An immediate reaction.
The alien DNA is coursing through
your veins. A fine cyborg-mutate.
Have I known then what I know
now...I would have spent more time
on you.."Lily continued to struggle in her
binds, red eyes seething."I see now... You are filled with rage.
In time...you will come to see things
my way." he repeated.Calling Android 19 over, Dr Gero
received a tranquilizing serum.
Looking back at Lily who was staring
him down, Android 20 smirked.
"You'll have time to cool off. And
when you do, we will make a utopia.
You, me, and my creations." He
chuckled then, pressing the injecting
apparatus to her neck.Pulling the trigger, the serum shot
into her veins, sending her into a
deep stasis. Android 20's smirk
became a grin."Place her in the pod on the
basement level and hook it to the
supercomputer. Should I return early,
I would like to experiment with her
further. For now, we must prepare."Android 19 complied, taking Lily and
placing her in a pod below the main
laboratory. There, alone in the
darkness, Lily would stay. In some
threads of reality, it would be years.
In some? Days. No one knew she
was there. She was...abandoned.𝗘𝗻𝗱.
